Hello there, I'm Ivor 👋

Hello there, I'm Ivor Kakuk, amateur photographer based in Zagreb. I embarked on my photography journey in January 2024, driven by frustration with the limitations of my phone’s camera. This sparked a passion to master the art of capturing stunning and meaningful images.

My work primarily focuses on street portraiture and the subtle beauty of everyday life. I find joy in capturing fleeting moments and ordinary scenes that tell a story and evoke genuine emotion. For me, photography is about stopping time and making the viewer feel the essence of the moment.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m pursuing a master’s degree in electronics engineering and diving deep into the world of music. Photography is my beloved hobby, and while I cherish it deeply, I hope it remains a source of personal joy rather than becoming a full-time job.

I believe that photography should be an art form that captures raw emotion and presents it in a way that feels authentic. Unlike the often impersonal content seen on social media, my aim is to create images that are passionate and deeply connected to real experiences.
